Series Point Score
The 2008 Saturday Afternoon Sprint Series will be held over 7 rounds with the best six results counting towards the end of year trophies.

Categories
The Series is open to road registered vehicles only and will be divided into three categories.
4 Cylinder | 6 Cylinder | 8 Cylinder
Turbo charged and/or supercharged air induction vehicles will move up by one category.
There are NO tyre restrictions. ie Slicks are permitted.

Format
All rounds of the series will be run on the QR Sprint Circuit.
3 starts at each round consisting of 1 x out lap, 5 x hot laps, 1 x in lap.
Groups will be formed by request where possible otherwise will be allocated according to previous best recorded time.
Novices with less than three Sprint rounds experience will always be in their own special group.
Where we can finish early with plenty of daylight a fourth run will be held for those who want even more time on track. Of course, there is NO CHARGE for the fourth run.

Trophies & Awards
Trophies will be awarded to the first three drivers in each of the three categories.
Our traditional free barbeque and drinks at the last round of the series will be the occasion for the presentation of the trophies.
NB Points cannot be carried over to Wednesday Afternoon Sprint Series.

Spectators - Admission is Free
