Series Point Score
The 2008 Wednesday Afternoon Sprint Series will be held over 7 rounds with the best five results counting towards the end of year trophies.

On track at 2pm.

Categories
The Series will be divided into six categories.
Road Registered: 4 Cylinder | 6 Cylinder | 8 Cylinder
Race (Unregistered): Under 2 Litre | Over 2 Litre
Turbo charged and/or supercharged air induction vehicles will move up by one category.
There are NO tyre restrictions. ie Slicks are permitted.

Format
All rounds of the series will include 2 sprints on the Sprint circuit and 2 sprints on the Clubman circuit.
4 starts at each round consisting of 1 x out lap, 5 x hot laps, 1 x in lap.
Groups will be formed by request where possible otherwise will be allocated according to previous best recorded time.
Novices with less than three Sprint rounds experience will always be in their own special group.
Where we can finish early with plenty of daylight a fourth run will be held for those who want even more time on track. Of course, there is NO CHARGE for the fourth run.

Trophies & Awards
Trophies will be awarded to the first 5 drivers in each of the three categories at the end of the season.
Our traditional free barbeque and drinks at the last round of the series will be the occasion for the presentation of the trophies.
