An outstanding drive from Wayne Hennig in the Sports Cars Handicap saw his Porsche GT2 finish 22 seconds clear of Lee Cooper and Terry Knight respectively. Terry Knight finished in the top place in points for the day, followed closely by Wayne Hennig and Steve Cooper.
Geoff Fane, Don Lake and Michael Hickman made up the top three respectively in a close handicap race for the MX5 category. Fane also finished on top in points for the day with a perfect score of 250. Hickman and Lake rounded out the top three. Bruce Le Garde and his Honda Civic finished on top in the handicap race for group one of the Sedans, ahead of Ken Percival in the Alfa Romeo GT and Richard Fehlberg in the Nissan Pulsar.
The handicap race for group two of Sedans was taken out by Jeff Jones in his Holden Commodore, with Bob Matsen and Angela Lechner finishing in second and third place respectively.
The overall top points scorer for Sedans on the day was Grant Wilson in the 1970 Camaro.
In the Superkarts handicap Steve Murray took out first place, followed by Matt Wright and Warwick Donsky. Murray was also top points scorer for the category, finishing ahead of Paul Chaffey and Matt Wright.
